Online Counseling for Families and Children

In this workshop counselors will learn three techniques they can use through an online platform. These techniques create an atmosphere to build a relationship with children and their parents quickly. The activities will help you assess the family dynamics and the individual communication styles each family member uses during conflict. The workshop is experiential so counselors get to experiment with the various activities live during the presentation.

I found the presentation to be very helpful. I am a graduate psychology student currently working with children in the outpatient therapy setting. The methods discussed and taught could be applied to the clients I interact with on a daily basis, and could be very helpful when exploring the emotions and feelings these clients have a difficult time processing and discussing. It was a great presentation! Thanks!

Emotional Freedom Technique and How to Talk to Your Clients About It

Stacey Shapiro lead a very dynamic, informative and engaging virtual presentation on the Introduction to Tapping to clinicians. She gave several helpful demonstrations and provided practical tips on how to utilize the technique with clients and in real-life. Stacey created a safe space where folks could ask questions and she provided very thorough answers. After Stacey’s presentation, many participants expressed an interest in becoming certified in Tapping. They also commented on how much they got out of the presentation and what a great presenter Stacy is; we highly recommend her!
